AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both manual and automated testing across desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain regression scripts, validate features, and ensure quality throughout the SDLC with strong collaboration with product teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO or Appium, and a willingness to work in a remote-friendly, flexible environment with a focus on holistic quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience writing and using Gherkin for BDD.
• Strong communication skills and quality-focused mindset.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building agentic QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manual testing to validate software against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration and performance tests.
• Document feature behavior and test results clearly.
• Record test pass/fail criteria and link to defects.
• Identify risks to product quality and elevate accordingly.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Incorporate user feedback into testing strategy with stakeholders.
• Contribute to test plans and effort estimations.
• Maintain automation repos in GitHub and run custom scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
