Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You'll build regression scripts, run diverse tests, and document behavior to ensure software quality across SDLC and releases. Remote-friendly, hybrid options available.

Requirements include 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing, CI/CD experience (GitHub Actions), and hands-on testing with Playwright and Appium. AI QA tools experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Must have hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience with AI tools in QA and testing AI-powered apps is a plus.
• Experience writing tests using Gherkin for BDD.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, and performance tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior and test outcomes.
• Identify risks to product quality and collaborate with teams to improve.
• Collaborate with product and customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimation to improve planning.
• Utilize GitHub to manage automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotations.
