Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing across our digital platforms. You will build and maintain robust automation, ensure fast CI/CD integration, and drive quality across releases for web, desktop and mobile apps.

The role blends hands-on testing with AI-assisted QA, requires strong Playwright/WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron and React Native experience, and collaboration with developers and product teams to raise testability and acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.
• Familiar with AI tools in QA and analyzing their outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data/environments
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes
• Collaborate with developers and product teams on testability and acceptance criteria
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
