Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing across desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain robust test suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure high-quality releases in a remote, globally distributed team.

The role requires 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on testing, and experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO. You will work with AI tools in QA and help shape testability and acceptance criteria across products.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regression automation scripts.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
