Job summary

HoopStars, a Toronto-based youth basketball business, seeks a General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce and profitable growth. You will run HoopStars and build the Community Sports Partners marketing team across brands, managing budgets and customer experience.

Remote work from LATAM with Toronto-hours collaboration; potential relocation to US or Canada by mutual agreement. Strong emphasis on data-driven growth and team leadership.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget: pricing, margins, staffing or profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.
• Ability to translate ecommerce methods into a service delivery model with customer commitments.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts.
• Lead sales and operations, ensuring programmes, coaches, venues and service quality meet demand.
• Drive digital growth: paid search, social, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing and retention.
• Build the parent marketing team: structure, recruit specialists, manage priorities and performance.
• Establish commercial discipline with reporting, testing and investment allocation.
