Job summary

HoopStars is a Toronto-based youth basketball business seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce growth and profitability. You will split time between running HoopStars and building Community Sports Partners' marketing team across brands.

Responsibilities include owning budgets, cash forecasts, and customer experience, while driving paid acquisition, conversion and retention to grow customers and revenue. Remote LATAM work with Toronto-hour collaboration is offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget: pricing, margins, staffing or profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.
• Ability to translate ecommerce methods into a service business with delivery capacity.

Responsibilities

• Run HoopStars: own business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts; lead sales and operations.
• Drive digital growth: improve paid search and social, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing and offers.
• Build the parent marketing team: structure, recruit, manage priorities and performance across brands.
• Establish commercial discipline: connect campaign performance to paying customers and profitability.
