Job summary

HoopStars, a Toronto-based youth basketball business, is seeking a hands-on General Manager focused on marketing, ecommerce growth and profitable scale. You will split time between HoopStars operations and building the parent company Community Sports Partners' marketing function, with remote LATAM collaboration and potential relocation later.

You will optimize paid and organic acquisition, improve conversion, and manage budgets, performance and customer experience across brands.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget including pricing or profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives or agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue and profitability.
• Drive digital growth: paid search, social, landing pages and enrollment funnels.
• Build and lead the parent marketing team across brands.
• Ensure campaigns tie to customers, enrollments and profits.
• Provide weekly reporting and escalate issues as needed.
