Job summary

HoopStars is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead marketing and ecommerce growth across HoopStars and its parent brands. You will own the business plan, budgets, revenue, profitability, and drive paid acquisition, optimization, and retention while ensuring service quality.

This is a full-time remote role from LATAM with Toronto-hours. You will build and manage the parent marketing team, recruit specialists, guide agencies, and report weekly.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget: pricing, margins or profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.
• Ability to translate ecommerce methods into a service business with real delivery capacity.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue and profitability.
• Lead sales and operations, ensuring programmes and service quality meet demand.
• Drive digital growth: paid search, social, landing pages, enrollment funnels and retention.
• Build the parent marketing team: structure, recruit specialists, manage agencies and priorities.
• Establish commercial discipline: connect campaign performance to customers and profitability.
