Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Sales Advisor for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will drive the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and build key operator relationships to deliver high-value, technically differentiated solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with operations and engineering, with a focus on technical storytelling, performance reviews, and post-well analyses to demonstrate value and differentiation.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong understanding of wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins and ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
• Build relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to show value.
• Collaborate with operations and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and contract renewals.
• Maintain accurate pipelines and forecasts in CRM; ensure HSE compliance.
