Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps while performing manual/ exploratory testing. You’ll build, maintain, and run automated suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and collaborate with developers and product to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities include investigating failures, fixing flaky tests, and ensuring robust test coverage across web and mobile platforms, with AI tooling experience considered a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual testing experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency with Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium.
• Experience testing Electron/React Native apps on devices.
• Familiarity with AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop/mobile test automation for critical flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure speed/reliability.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage data/environments.
• Report bugs clearly and verify fixes with developers.
• Collaborate with product and other teams on acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
