Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills and hands-on manual/exploratory testing for desktop and mobile apps. Build and maintain robust automation, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and work with developers to ensure high testability and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities include regression, smoke, and performance testing, documenting outcomes, and collaborating with product and support teams to refine testing strategies.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and 4+ years in manual Testing.
• Experience writing/maintaining automated tests for desktop or mobile apps.
• Proficient in Gherkin for BDD and test case design.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with AI tools in QA and testing AI-powered apps is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Collaborate with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
