Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps, ensuring robust test coverage and reliable release quality.

Key responsibilities include building automation, integrating tests into CI/CD, and collaborating with developers on testability and acceptance criteria, plus hands-on exploration and regression testing across platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop/web; WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS and Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
