Valatam is seeking an Accounting Associate to deliver reliable financial support to international clients in a fully remote environment.

The role suits an organized, analytical bilingual professional with 3-5 years in accounting, finance, or related fields. You will maintain records, perform reconciliations, and assist with payroll, tax tasks, audits, and budgeting while upholding confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• 3-5 years in accounting, finance, or related roles.
• Experience with bank reconciliations, AP/AR, invoicing, and financial records.
• Experience with payroll, budgeting, audits, and tax documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accurate financial records and spreadsheets.
• Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Perform bank and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Manage AP/AR activities and coordinate payments.
• Process invoices and follow up on payments with clients and suppliers.
• Support monthly payroll and payroll documentation.
• Analyze costs and assist with budgeting and tax payments.
• Prepare financial reports for internal and client use.
• Assist with audits and budgeting activities.
