The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement across regions, and the ability to translate complex breeding and analytics concepts into actionable decisions.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant or Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field
• Strong knowledge of breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, or quantitative genetics
• Ability to build cross-functional partnerships to solve problems across regions

Responsibilities

• Define a multi-year vision for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence
• Shape technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, analytics, automation
• Lead adoption strategies and governance for new practices
• Own the impact narrative with metrics on cycle time, genetic gain, cost and adoption
