Qualifications

  • PhD or MS in Plant or Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, and quantitative genetics with a track record of innovation.
  • Ability to collaborate across regions and functions to solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

  • Define vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline.
  • Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence-based decisions to enable rapid iteration.
  • Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, and analytics.
  • Lead adoption strategy and governance for new practices across crops and regions.
  • Own the impact narrative with metrics on cycle time, genetic gain, and adoption.
