• PhD or MS degree in Plant or Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics and information technologies, genomics, or quantitative genetics.
• Strong ability to collaborate and build cross-functional partnerships across regions and functions.
• Demonstrated ability to embrace and role-model leadership attributes aligned with Bayer’s Values.

Responsabilidades

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration across the early breeding pipeline.
• Establish how the organization formulates research questions by setting standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence.
• Shape the enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, predictive analytics, automation, and digital workflows.
• Lead the adoption strategy that embeds new practices across crops and regions at scale.
• Own the impact narrative and metrics by defining cycle time, genetic gain, cost, quality, and adoption measures.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to the Capability Center and contribute to key focus areas.
• Lead and contribute to Global Breeding strategies and the Long-Range Plan.
• Engage with universities to guide talent development and position Bayer as a strategic destination.
• Serve as a member of L3 leadership units connecting research acceleration with product and supply decisions.
• Ensure HS&E, Compliance, DEI, and Human Rights across the Capability Hub.
