Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the vision, strategy, and multi-year plan for accelerating research and impact across breeding pipelines. This role sits in the Product Design Capability Center and partners across regions to turn faster learning and higher-quality evidence into rapid, improved product delivery for growers and customers worldwide.

Formación

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.
• Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, and genomics.
• Ability to collaborate across regions and functions.
• Demonstrated leadership aligned with Bayer Values (VACC).

Responsabilidades

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline and translate it into a prioritized portfolio.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and decision-ready evidence to enable rapid iteration.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, predictive analytics, and digital workflows.
• Lead adoption strategy, govern standards, workflows, and change management across crops and regions.
• Own the impact narrative and metrics for acceleration, guiding investment and leadership decisions.
• Contribute to Global Breeding strategies and the Long-Range Plan (LRP).
• Engage with universities to recruit and develop future talent for Bayer Crop Science.
