Job summary

HoopStars is seeking a hands-on General Manager for Marketing and Ecommerce Growth, operating remotely from LATAM with Toronto hours and potential relocation discussions. You will split time between HoopStars and building the parent company’s marketing capability, leading growth initiatives across brands and ensuring customer acquisition translates into sustainable profitability.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.
• Ability to translate ecommerce methods into a service business with real delivery capacity.
• Strong professional English and effective remote leadership.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue and profitability.
• Lead sales and operations, ensuring programmes, coaches, venues and service quality stay aligned with demand.
• Drive digital growth: paid search, social, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing and offers.
• Build the parent marketing team: structure, hiring, contracting and performance management across brands.
• Establish commercial discipline: link campaigns to paying customers and profitability, allocate marketing investment with reporting.
