Job summary

HoopStars is seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce growth, and profitability across HoopStars and the parent company’s brands. You will split time between running HoopStars and shaping the parent marketing function, with equity potential and US/Canada relocation by mutual agreement.

The role is full-time and remote from LATAM with Toronto hours. You will own budgets, performance reporting, and the customer experience, driving growth across markets and channels.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in digital marketing and ecommerce growth.
• Experience leading marketing teams and driving profitability.
• Strong understanding of paid acquisition, conversions and retention.
• Effective remote collaboration across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Run HoopStars: own business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts.
• Lead sales and operations, ensuring programmes, coaches, venues and service quality meet demand.
• Drive digital growth: paid search, social, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing, offers, referrals and retention.
• Build the parent marketing team: structure, recruit specialists, manage priorities and performance across brands.
• Establish commercial discipline: connect campaign performance to paying customers, enrollments and profits.
