Bayer seeks a seasoned Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the vision, strategy, and multi-year plan for speeding research impact in the early breeding pipeline. You will mobilize the organization to shorten cycle time, improve genetic gain, and deliver faster, higher-quality products to growers worldwide.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding or related field.
• Proven track record of translating research into applied pipelines.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams across regions and functions.
• Demonstrated alignment with Bayer values and leadership expectations.

Responsabilités

• Define vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in early breeding.
• Establish standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence-based decisions.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, and analytics.
• Lead adoption strategies and embed new practices across crops and regions.
• Own impact metrics and guide investments and leadership decisions.
• Provide technical and product knowledge to Capability Center and global focus areas.
• Collaborate with university partners to develop future talent.
• Engage with L3 leadership units to align acceleration with product and supply decisions.
