Qualifications

  • PhD or MS in Plant or Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, or quantitative genetics; track record of translating research into applied pipelines.

Responsibilities

  • Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration across the early breeding pipeline.
  • Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence-based decisions to enable rapid iteration.
  • Shape the enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, analytics, automation, and digital workflows.
  • Lead adoption strategies to embed new practices across crops and regions at scale.
  • Own the impact narrative and metrics for cycle time, genetic gain, cost, quality, and adoption.
