Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define and drive the multi‑year strategy for accelerating research in the early breeding pipeline. You will shape technology roadmaps, partner with global teams, and align on the impact narrative across cycles and products.

You will lead cross‑functional collaboration with breeding, analytics, and design teams, ensuring ethical practices and a strong HS&E culture while delivering faster, higher‑quality product delivery for growers

Formación

PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative or Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.
Strong knowledge of advanced breeding technologies, analytics, genomics, and quantitative genetics.
Ability to collaborate across regions and functions to solve problems.

Responsabilidades

Define vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration in the early breeding pipeline.
Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence-based decisions.
Lead enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, and analytics.
Drive adoption and change management for new practices across crops and regions.
Define metrics and reporting for acceleration impact on cycle time and genetic gain.
