Job summary

HoopStars is a Toronto-based youth basketball business with recurring customers and technology-enabled operations. We are looking for a hands‑on General Manager whose strongest skills are marketing, ecommerce and profitable growth, and who can take responsibility for the whole business.

You will divide your time between running HoopStars and building the parent company Community Sports Partners' marketing team across its brands, with remote LATAM work and Toronto hours.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in driving paid acquisition, improving funnel conversion and increasing retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond marketing budgets including pricing, margins and profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, or agencies; ability to scale teams.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts.
• Drive digital growth across paid search, social, creatives, landing pages and enrollment funnels.
• Build and lead the parent marketing team across brands with contractors or agencies as needed.
• Establish commercial discipline by linking campaign performance to paying customers and profitability.
• Stay close to execution by auditing accounts and launching improvements while developing a scalable team.
