Job summary

HoopStars is a Toronto-based youth basketball business seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead marketing, ecommerce growth and profitability across HoopStars and the parent company’s brands. You will own budgets, revenue, and the customer experience while building a scalable marketing team for multi-brand expansion.

The role is remote from LATAM with Toronto working hours. Potential future relocation to the US or Canada by mutual agreement, and equity opportunity subject to terms.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated results in paid acquisition, conversion and retention.
• Commercial responsibility beyond a marketing budget: pricing, margins, staffing, forecasts or business profitability.
• Experience hiring and managing marketers, creatives, agencies or other specialists.

Responsibilities

• Own HoopStars business plan, budget, revenue, profitability and cash forecasts.
• Lead sales and operations, ensuring programmes, coaches, venues and service quality.
• Drive digital growth: paid search, social, landing pages, enrollment funnels, pricing and retention.
• Build and manage the parent marketing team across brands.
• Establish campaign discipline: connect performance to paying customers and profitability.
• Stay close to execution: diagnose funnel issues and implement improvements.
