Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its regional SAM team, focusing on Latin America and other regions. You will handle licensing analysis, entitlements, renewals and compliance, coordinating with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineers to optimize software usage and costs.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge across models, and fluency in English and Spanish to collaborate with regional and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Software Asset Management experience with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models: node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to optimize utilization and costs.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive SAM process improvements.
