Job summary

WSP invites a Software Asset Management Specialist to join our global SAM team, handling licensing across Latin America and additional regions. You will work with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering to optimize software usage, ensure compliance and deliver timely services.

We seek hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge across node-locked, floating, named-user and cloud licenses, and the ability to manage a large multi-publisher portfolio in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with significant SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models, including node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user and cloud/SaaS licenses.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Practical experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or software audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements and adapt quickly between different publishers and requests.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy when interpreting licensing information.
• Advanced English and Spanish, with the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
