Job summary

Bayer is seeking a Research and Impact Acceleration Lead to define the vision and multi-year strategy for accelerating research across the early breeding pipeline. You will steer technology adoption, governance, and execution, driving faster learning and higher quality product delivery for growers worldwide.

You will collaborate across genomics, phenotyping, automation, and digital workflows while aligning with the Long-Range Plan and high-level commercial goals.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS in Plant/Animal Breeding, Quantitative/Statistical Genetics, Data Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and multi-year strategy for research acceleration across the early breeding pipeline.
• Set standards for hypothesis-driven design and evidence to enable rapid iteration.
• Shape enabling-technology agenda across accelerated breeding, genomics, phenotyping, analytics.
• Lead adoption strategy and change management to embed new practices.
• Own impact metrics and guide investments using cycle time and genetic gain data.
• Provide strategic knowledge to Capability Center and align with Global Breeding strategies.
