Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin, Argentina. You will develop and execute the commercial strategy, manage the full sales cycle, and coordinate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑value solutions to major operators.

You will engage with clients like YPF and Tecpetrol, lead proposals and contracts, and drive growth while ensuring service quality and compliance with Baker Hughes standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Experience with wellbore data interpretation and drilling KPIs.
• Proven track record with operators in shale basins such as Vaca Muerta.
• Ability to drive technical sales cycles and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication translating technical info into commercial value.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, contracts.
• Build relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to show value.
• Coordinate with operations and engineering to ensure service quality.
