Job summary

Baker Hughes in Argentina seeks a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin. You will manage the full sales cycle, drive technical sales with operators like YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, and Capex, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver differentiated service value.

You will develop the commercial strategy, deliver technical presentations, and ensure high‑quality service delivery while aligning with HSE standards and CRM tracking and contract

Qualifications

• Ten years+ in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, motors, RSS, or BHA optimization.
• Strong interpretation of wellbore data and drilling KPIs.
• Experience with operators in shale basins.
• Ability to manage technical sales cycles and influence engineering/procurement stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in Vaca Muerta.
• Manage full sales cycle: prospecting, scoping, pricing, proposals, and contracts.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to show service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tenders, commercial models, and renewals to secure long-term business.
