Baker Hughes is hiring a Commercial Lead for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin, Argentina. You will manage the full sales cycle, drive growth through strong customer engagement, and align technical capability with commercial strategy.

You will collaborate with operations, engineering, and product teams to deliver high-quality service, present technical value, and secure long-term contracts with operators like YPF and Tecpetrol.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Directional Drilling, MWD/LWD, or BHA optimization.
• Strong ability to interpret wellbore data and drive drilling KPIs.
• Experience working with operators in Vaca Muerta or similar shale basins.
• Proven track record of managing technical sales cycles and influencing procurement.
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical value into commercial opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute the commercial strategy for Directional Drilling Services in the Vaca Muerta basin.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with operators such as YPF, Vista, Tecpetrol, Pampa, Pluspetrol, Capex.
• Deliver technical presentations and post-well analyses to demonstrate service value.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and product lines to ensure service quality.
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across bits, fluids, motors, MWD/LWD, RSS.
• Support tender submissions, commercial models, and renewals for long-term business.
• Maintain opportunity pipelines, forecasts, and customer intelligence in CRM.
• Ensure compliance with local HSE and Baker Hughes standards.
