Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability of an enterprise data platform in a regulated environment. You will manage AWS/EKS, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, and Tableau, driving IaC, CI/CD, and robust observability.

This role requires strong leadership, incident management, and cross‑functional collaboration across security, governance, and analytics teams. You will mentor engineers, guide platform decisions, and ensure compliance with change controls and SLAs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Cloud/Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE
• Deep hands-on AWS production environment experience
• Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS expertise
• Hands-on with Argo Workflows or similar orchestration
• Strong Infra as Code, preferably Terraform
• Observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, incident routing
• Lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting
• Production platforms with SLAs, runbooks, change controls, on-call duties
• Know-how on Snowflake, S3 data lakes, dbt, data pipelines
• Python, Shell, Bash for automation
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication
• Availability for LatAm window 9:00–18:00 ET

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3 and Tableau
• Lead transition to managed services, map dependencies and transfer knowledge
• Define cloud architecture principles, IaC, CI/CD, observability, and release practices
• Provide leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, Argo, deployments, access management, capacity
• Translate needs into actionable technical requirements and backlogs
• Guide cross-platform decisions for Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and data pipelines
• Lead complex cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation
• Direct technical response during major incidents including RCA and preventions
• Ensure changes include review, validation, rollback, and traceability
• Define and monitor reliability metrics like availability and data freshness
• Improve automation, observability, auto-remediation, and cost efficiency
• Collaborate with Security, Governance, Analytics, IT for least-privilege access
