AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will lead AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Argo Workflows, and Snowflake integrations to ensure continuous data flow and governance.

You'll drive IaC, CI/CD, and monitoring, mentor engineers, and coordinate cross‑functional incident response across infrastructure, data pipelines, and analytics layers.

Formación

• 6+ years of professional Cloud/Platform/SRE experience.
• Hands-on AWS production environments with cloud architecture, security, networking & access management.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS; workload deployment and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Argo Workflows or comparable orchestration platform.
• Strong IaC experience, preferably Terraform, with CI/CD and release automation.
• Experience designing/operating observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident routing for distributed production platforms.
• Ability to lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Experience operating production platforms with SLAs, runbooks, change controls, and on-call.
• Strong knowledge of modern data platforms (Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran/HVR, and custom pipelines).
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash for automation.
• Ability to communicate tradeoffs, estimate work, and guide teams through change.
• Mentor engineers and improve engineering processes across a distributed team.
• Strong stakeholder-management and English communication skills.
• Availability to work in LatAm service window (9:00–18:00 ET) and participate in escalation/on-call rotation.

Responsabilidades

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, Fivetran and Tableau dependencies.
• Lead the transition into managed services with platform discovery, risk identification, and readiness validation.
• Establish cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD, observability patterns, and platform priorities.
• Provide technical leadership for AWS infra, Kubernetes/EKS operations, Argo Workflows, deployment automation, and access management.
• Translate business and security needs into actionable technical requirements and backlogs.
• Guide cross-platform decisions involving Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, ingestion, and analytics dependencies.
• Lead cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation across infra, ingestion, orchestration, Snowflake and Tableau.
• Direct technical response during major incidents including post-incident reviews and preventive actions.
• Ensure changes/releases include validation, rollback planning, traceability, and cross-component coordination.
• Define and monitor reliability indicators (availability, ingestion success, data freshness, deployment outcomes, MTTR).
• Lead automation, observability, auto-remediation, platform resilience, deployment safety, and cloud cost optimization.
• Partner with Security, Governance, Analytics, IT to enforce least-privilege, audits, and proper handling of regulated data.
• Review designs, document tradeoffs, and ensure secure, scalable solutions within managed-service model.
• Mentor senior/mid engineers and build consistent capability across the distributed team.
• Maintain alignment between LatAm and India coverage windows with clear ownership and handoffs.
• Participate in senior escalation/on-call model for incidents outside staffed hours.
