AgileEngine is seeking a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment. You will lead AWS/EKS/Kubernetes operations, Argo Workflows, and data ingestion pipelines while driving platform reliability and incident response.

You will mentor engineers, define cloud architecture principles, and align platform goals with business needs.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Experience with AWS production environments including architecture, security, networking, access management, monitoring.
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes and Amazon EKS.
• Hands-on experience with Argo Workflows or comparable orchestration platform.
• Terraform and IaC, CI/CD, release automation.
• Observability, logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident routing design.
• Ability to lead major incidents and cross-functional troubleshooting.
• Experience with SLA, runbooks, on-call responsibilities.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran/HVR, and data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python, Shell, Bash for automation.
• Strong stakeholder management and English communication.
• Availability to work LatAm service window (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ET) and on-call rotation.

Responsabilités

• Own the technical direction and end-to-end reliability of the managed Data Platform across AWS, EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, Fivetran, and Tableau dependencies.
• Lead the transition into managed services with planning, dependency mapping, and readiness validation.
• Define and evolve cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD, and observability patterns.
• Provide technical leadership for AWS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, deployment automation, and access management.
• Translate business and platform needs into actionable technical requirements and backlog.
• Guide cross-platform decisions for Snowflake, dbt, Fivetran, and data pipelines.
• Lead cross-platform troubleshooting and L3 escalation across infra, ingestion, and analytics.
• Drive major-incident response including post-incident reviews and preventive actions.
