Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also handles manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain tests, integrate into CI/CD pipelines, and work with developers on testability and acceptance criteria.

You will run Playwright for desktop/web, WebdriverIO with Appium for mobile, and test Electron/React Native apps on real devices, using AI tools in QA to review outputs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and React Native apps on real devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
