Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and drive testability with developers and product teams.

Role requires 4+ years in QA automation, strong Playwright and WebdriverIO/Appium experience, and comfort testing Electron/React Native apps on real devices. Remote/office flex options are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsabilités

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality across SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repos, run scripts, foster automated QA practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
