Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation alongside manual testing for our fintech platforms. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers, product teams, and customer-facing groups to ensure high quality across releases.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA, strong Playwright/WebdriverIO/Appium experience, and familiarity with Electron/React Native apps.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience in Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO/Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS/Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and reviewing outputs.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation and test results.
• Identify risks to product quality and collaborate with the product team.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback into tests.
• Participate in refinement and estimation for planning.
• Maintain automation repos and run custom scripts in GitHub.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
