Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile applications, while also executing manual testing. You will help ensure the quality of our fintech platforms across web and native apps, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with developers on testability.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO + Appium, and familiarity with Electron/React Native apps.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
