Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile automation while performing manual testing for core features. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data, and collaborate with developers and product teams to define acceptance criteria.

Experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO/Appium, AI tools in QA, and testing Electron/React Native apps is highly valued. Remote-friendly with flexible hours and global teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop/mobile test automation for critical flows.
• Conduct manual testing to validate accuracy against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests as needed.
• Document feature behavior with clear, detailed notes.
• Log pass/fail conditions and link failures to bugs.
• Raise risks to product quality and processes.
• Collaborate with product teams to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Coordinate with customer-facing teams to integrate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and effort estimation.
• Use GitHub to manage automation repos and scripts.
• Join On-Call rotations.
