Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation for desktop and mobile apps, while handling manual testing. You’ll build robust test suites, integrate into CI/CD, and ensure high quality across features with collaboration across product and engineering teams.

You’ll work with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and AI‑assisted testing, contributing to a fast, reliable release process in a globally distributed, remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and hands‑on manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands‑on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop/mobile test automation for key user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes with developers.
• Collaborate with product and QA teams on testability and criteria.
• Perform hands‑on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
