Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own both automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers to improve testability and quality across features.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in QA automation, experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO, CI/CD pipelines, and testing Electron/React Native apps. AI tools in QA are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software QA.
• 3+ years automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic QA skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance, and other tests.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails and map to bugs.
• Identify and elevate quality risks to product/process.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC and releases.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimation of effort for planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
