Job summary

Convoy Finance is seeking an Accounting Manager who can take ownership, think beyond the books, and serve as a trusted partner to our clients. You’ll oversee accounting across a portfolio of growing companies and work directly with international clients, founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals.

This hands-on role combines close involvement with day-to-day accounting and strategic guidance: review work, manage priorities, and help clients navigate complex questions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 5+ years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in full-cycle accounting, month-end close and financial reporting.
• Big Four experience and client-facing accounting exposure are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of accounting and reporting work.
• Leading full-cycle accounting and month-end close, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
• Reviewing accounting work for quality, accuracy and consistency across client deliverables.
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.
• Working directly with founders, CFOs and senior finance professionals to answer questions and provide accounting guidance.
• Coaching junior accounting staff and handling more complex accounting issues.
• Supporting advisory and finance projects as they arise.
• Building strong, long-term client relationships and becoming a trusted contact for accounting needs.
