Job summary
A leading hospitality firm in Dubai is seeking an experienced Engineering Supervisor to oversee daily engineering operations and manage a team of technicians. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of engineering experience in hotels or high-rise buildings, with strong hands-on skills in complex systems like HVAC and fire safety. This role requires leadership skills and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient maintenance operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in engineering within hotels or high-rise buildings.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leader role.
- Hands-on experience with complex systems like chillers and fire systems.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily engineering operations and lead a team of technicians.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP and HVAC systems.
- Ensure prompt response to guest room engineering issues.
- Monitor and troubleshoot BMS and life-safety systems.
- Manage maintenance of chillers, pumps, and plumbing networks.

- Supervise daily engineering operations and lead a team of technicians.
- Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance for all MEP and HVAC systems.
- Ensure prompt response and resolution ofguest room engineering issues (AC, plumbing, electrical, fixtures).
- Monitor and troubleshoot BMS, fire alarm, fire pumps, and life-safety systems.
- Manage maintenance of chillers, pumps, boilers, electrical panels, and plumbing networks.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and technical services.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Civil Defense, DM, DEWA, and SIRA standards.
- Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and ensure LOTO and PPE compliance.
- Support authority inspections, certifications, and permit renewals.
- Maintain accurate work orders, maintenance logs, and spare-parts inventory.
- Assign tasks, train technicians, and support technical skill development.
- Oversee room maintenance schedules and support guest satisfaction through timely services.
- Assist with CAPEX projects, renovations, and system upgrades for the high-rise building.
- Analyze system performance and recommend energy-saving improvements.
- Minimum 3–5 years experience in engineering within hotels, mixed-use towers, or high-rise buildings.
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or team-leader role.
- Hands experience managing complex systems such as chillers, plant rooms, BMS, fire systems, and elevators.
