Position Overview

The Risk Executive assesses business creditworthiness, analyzes credit reports and market trends, and makes Credit Line recommendations to the Credit Committee. They also play a vital role on the Collections side, managing customer payments, resolving payment issues and minimizing bad debt exposure.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate customers' creditworthiness and recommend appropriate credit limits or terms to minimize the risk of bad debt exposure
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to credit risk management, including guidelines set forth by regulatory agencies
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and prioritize collection efforts to them Contacting customers via collections tool, phone or email to follow up on overdue payments, resolve payment discrepancies and / or arrangements, and investigate billing disputes or discrepancies by coordinating with internal departments such as sales and finance
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment arrangements, and customer communications in the collections management system
• The key performance indicators are :

Reduction in Credit decision turnaround time

Increase in Credit contribution to NMV

Requirements

Language

• Arabic – professional / native proficiency (Mandatory)
• English – professional proficiency

Basic Qualification

• 1+ years in the fields of collections, credit control, finance or similar

Hard Skills

• Proficiency in using unfamiliar / familiar collections management software(s)
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and documentation
• Knowledge of credit risk management principles, methodologies, and regulatory requirements

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
