The pickup driver must adhere to all traffic regulations, maintain the vehicle in excellent working condition, and manage paperwork related to deliveries. • Drive a pickup truck to transport goods to designated locations promptly.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance tasks.
• Plan routes efficiently based on delivery schedules and road conditions.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring safe and secure handling of all items.
• Verify the contents of load against delivery orders to ensure accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients for clear delivery instructions.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including times and signatures.
• Adhere to all traffic regulations and company safety policies while driving.
• Handle customer inquiries and concerns politely and respectfully upon delivery.
• Report any incidents, accidents, or delays to the management immediately.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the truck’s interior and exterior.
• Participate in training sessions and meetings to stay updated on policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required for the position.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a pickup driver or in a similar delivery role.
• Familiarity with GPS devices and navigation through various routes is essential.
• Strong physical stamina to load and unload heavy goods safely.
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines efficiently.
• Outstanding customer service skills and eagerness to assist clients politely.
