Job summary
A leading engineering firm in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Mechanical Quality Inspector responsible for quality inspections in construction activities. The ideal candidate will verify materials and compliance with project specifications, conduct tests, and maintain quality records. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5 to 7 years of inspection experience, preferably with ADNOC approvals.
Qualifications
- 5 to 7 years of experience in quality inspections.
- Previously approved from ADNOC onshore and offshore jobs.
- Ability to work in multitask disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspection of mechanical works such as piping and equipment installation.
- Verify materials and consumables meet specifications.
- Ensure compliance with project drawings and requirements.
- Witness and record tests.
- Monitor welder qualifications.
- Coordinate with clients for inspections.
- Maintain inspection records and quality documents.
- Report non-conformances and verify corrective actions.
- Support QA/QC Engineer.
- Participate in audits.
