A tutoring organization in Dubai seeks an experienced math tutor for a 5-year-old student. The role involves teaching daily lessons, developing a personalized math learning plan, and regularly assessing progress. Candidates should be fluent in English and have a background in teaching young children. This position offers a dynamic teaching environment emphasizing learner-centered, intrinsic motivation-based pedagogy.

Responsabilidades
- Teach daily 1-hour math lessons Monday to Friday.
- Provide a personalized learning plan based on student progress.
- Attend bi-weekly meetings and submit feedback forms.

We are looking for an experienced math tutor to work with an 5-year-old student in daily lessons from Monday to Friday at 9:30 AM Dubai time.
The tutor must have a strong track record of working with children of similar age and be fluent in English.
Lessons should be dynamic, engaging, and adapted to the child’s learning style. A deep understanding of child psychology and the ability to cultivate intrinsic motivation are essential.
The tutor must maintain a warm yet structured teaching approach — someone who is creative and playful, but also consistent and respected by the child.
The tutor should align with our values around curiosity-driven learning and be capable of building a long-term trajectory that leads the student from foundational arithmetic through advanced elementary mathematics. Curriculum familiarity and the ability to clearly explain the roadmap are required.
- Teach daily 1-hour math lessons (Monday–Friday, 9.30 – 10.10 Dubai time) for 2 months
- Resume lessons in December (exact time to be confirmed)
- Provide a personalized math learning plan and update it regularly based on student progress
- Attend bi-weekly Tutor Council meetings to share insights, progress, and concerns
- Submit a short feedback form after each lesson assessing effort, knowledge mastery, and observations
- Assign and review homework regularly
- Daily availability at the specified time.
- Proven experience teaching math to children aged ~5.
- Ability to design a clear, motivating learning journey through foundational and intermediate math.
- Strong presence: kind, flexible, but able to set and hold structure.
- Deep alignment with learner-centered, intrinsic motivation-based pedagogy.
- Skilled at feedback, progress tracking, and coordination with the education team.
- Degree in Education, Mathematics, or related field (preferred).
- Training or certification in child development, pedagogy, or elementary math education (preferred).
- Fluent English speaker with strong communication and teaching skills.
- Familiarity with international math curricula and ability to personalize learning paths.
- Experience working one-on-one and adapting to individual learning styles.
