Job Overview

The appointment of the Promotion Manager is contingent upon obtaining in-principle approval from the Securities and Commodities Authority, ensuring the candidate meets all regulatory and compliance standards required for the role. SCA certification is desirable, though it can be obtained during the appointment process. The Promotion Manager will be a seasoned professional tasked with driving the company's growth in the MENA region through strategic marketing and promotional activities, enhancing the company’s visibility and client engagement in compliance with the regulatory framework established by the SCA.

Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that all promotional materials and campaigns adhere strictly to SCA regulations, verifying that all marketing messages are accurate, not misleading, and compliant with the SCA’s advertising standards.
  • Developing and implementing effective marketing strategies tailored to the UAE, including identifying target audiences, determining the most effective marketing channels, and setting clear objectives to achieve company growth.
  • Overseeing the execution of promotional campaigns, from planning and creative development to execution and performance analysis, managing budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively.
  • Working closely with other departments such as legal, compliance, and sales to ensure that all promotional activities are aligned with the company’s objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinating with external partners and agencies to support campaign objectives.
  • Ensuring that all content produced for marketing purposes, including advertisements, brochures, and digital content, is accurate, informative, and compliant with SCA regulations.
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of promotional activities and providing regular reports on campaign performance, client engagement, and compliance status.
  • Staying updated on regulatory changes and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members on regulatory compliance and best practices in marketing and ensuring the team is well-informed about SCA regulations and ethical standards expected in promotional activities.

Qualifications and Experience
  • A university certificate along with at least 5 years of experience in financial markets or relevant fields.
  • Alternative qualification: Diploma certificate or less certificate along with at least 10 years of experience in financial markets or relevant fields.
  • Additional qualification and experience: at least 5 years of experience in financial markets or relevant fields, together with: Master in Financial Risk Management (FRM), Master in Financial Controller, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Chartered Development Finance Analyst, Certified Management Accountant (CMA), ICA Specialist Certificate in Conduct Risk.
