We are seeking a qualified and experienced Yacht Marine Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and safety of our luxury yachts, providing exceptional service to our discerning clientele.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on yacht engines, generators, and other onboard systems as per manufacturer's specifications.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems effectively.
• Oversee the operation and efficiency of onboard machinery, ensuring optimal performance.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure compliance with all maritime regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and equipment repairs.
• Prepare and submit reports on engine and system performance.
• Liaise with captains and crew to address any technical issues.
• Participate in emergency drills and ensure crew is prepared for various scenarios.
• May be required to assist with guest requests related to onboard systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized engine room environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid STCW 95 (Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) certification including medical certificate.
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Yacht Marine Engineer on vessels comparable in size and complexity to our fleet.
• Strong understanding of marine diesel engines, generators, and onboard systems.
• Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A valid UAE Engineer's License (preferred).
• Experience with specific engines and systems used on our yachts (a plus).
• Ability to travel extensively and work flexible schedules (including nights and weekends).
