Job summary

Ideal candidates have 3+ years’ experience in vehicle inspection, strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws, and effective communication skills in English. NEBOSH or IOSH certification preferred.

About the Role

As a Vehicle Inspector and Safety Officer based in Dubai, you will ensure the operational safety and regulatory compliance of our vehicle fleet. You will conduct thorough technical inspections, implement safety protocols, and collaborate with maintenance teams to uphold the highest standards of vehicle reliability and road safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed mechanical and safety inspections of all company vehicles
• Identify and report defects, malfunctions, and safety hazards
• Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports and safety documentation
• Ensure compliance with UAE traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize and address repair needs
• Develop and implement vehicle safety procedures and preventive maintenance plans
• Conduct safety training sessions for drivers and operational staff
• Investigate vehicle incidents or accidents and recommend corrective actions
• Liaise with regulatory authorities and external auditors during inspections
• Maintain an organized database of inspection records and compliance certificates

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in vehicle inspection, fleet safety, or related technical roles
• Valid UAE driving license with a clean driving record
• Proven expertise in conducting technical vehicle inspections and safety audits
• Strong knowledge of UAE traffic laws, vehicle safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Ability to produce accurate, detailed inspection reports and analyze safety data
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• NEBOSH or IOSH certification in occupational health and safety
• Experience using fleet management and diagnostic software systems
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance procedures and automotive diagnostic tools
• Proficiency in Arabic
• Valid certification for operating forklifts or heavy equipment
