Valve Tester - Nuclear Facilities

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Contract: Initial 4‑month contract

Visa/Sponsorship: Candidates must be eligible to work in the UAE

Overview

We are seeking experienced Valve Testers to perform testing, calibration, refurbishment, and inspection of valves in nuclear facilities. The role ensures all work complies with nuclear safety, quality, and traceability requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hydrostatic, pneumatic, seat leak, and functional tests
  • Perform disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and adjustments on safety, isolation, and control valves
  • Follow strict nuclear traceability, documentation, and cleanliness standards
  • Record test results and complete QC documentation
  • Ensure compliance with nuclear safety procedures, radiological controls, and operational protocols
Candidate Requirements
  • 3‑5 years' experience in valve testing
  • Mandatory: Experience in nuclear plant valve testing
  • Familiarity with OEM specifications and nuclear testing equipment
  • Ability to work safely in radiological zones
  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Work Schedule & Conditions
  • Standard: 8 hours per day, 6 days per week
  • Pre‑outage: 40‑48 hours per week (as required)
  • Outage period: Up to 72 hours per week, with overtime applicable after 48 hours
